if Lisa MacLeod votes against the PCs while part of the PC caucus, I'll eat lemmy.ca.
MP and MPP independence from the parties is theatrical only. The parties own their future and they know better than to stand against them.
my MPP is Lisa MacLoud. Emailing her would be useless. The current PC wouldn't listen to her since she repeatedly embarrassed them as a minister during the previous term.
how long is the deal, when is it retroactive to?
Still 20% is going to be a good chunk no matter the years it covers.
I wonder if it manages to keep pace with the inflationary losses for the past 2 years and expected losses in the coming year. If they aren't averaging close to 5% per year for that 3 year period, they're going backwards.
A Place to Stand...A Place to Grow...Ontari-ari-ario-ooo
We already have a song.
I am fond of TWOTEF but it's not much about Ontario
I agree with the problems of FPTP, but it's been in place since the beginning of Canada. Is the argument that its been unconstitutional always? Since the CCRF?
Maybe it's not FPTP that's unconstitutional, but how the parties operate. But again, the parties have been around forever too.
I'm glad they're taking a run at it
