@lemmy.worldI think America needs a dose of liberation and democracy their government always bangs on about.
Quite sad to see that this is happening over there. Is this a failure of capitalism or democracy? As those respective systems have not taken into account the invariable devolution into a violent unstable system.
Oh no the white Afrikaaners did lose power. The ANC came to power in 1994. The other commentators post doesn't make sense for that reason.
Please note that this is a scam. Wiremin is known spyware. These scammers have infested Lemmy.
o7 be safe.
Also no need need to fit an American narrative to this - there's a world outside of America.
It's not about "all lives matter" it's that human lives matter and we aren't talking about some minor accusation, its large scale sexual violence, or what can be considered a war crime. But sure minimise the suffering of people because it doesn't fit your narrative, great job lacking empathy.
Yep, as long as the conversation is not revolving around Palestine the conversation isn't worth having because no one else matters what ever atrocities are committed don't matter as long as it's not Palestinian lives.
I'm on the side of all these atrocities are wrong this isn't a competition for the most oppressed or brutalised. Willfully ignoring atrocities because some people might use that atrocity to suit their narrative is plainly wrong.
As to how effective they were as a government - well I think the fact that Palestinians live in abject fear tells that tale doesn't it?
If you have such a basic understanding understanding of the situation perhaps you should keep your opinions and thoughts to yourself.
