Regardless. Some of them are are already filthy rich, have multiple houses, etc. They don't really need the money. Sure there are people who legitimately need it, but there should be an income limit to it IMHO. It gets raised almost every year. I consider it a pyramid scam.
It's because there are less (future) taxpayers than there are pensioners so we have to pay more.
To be honest, I used to use Gentoo and Arch Linux for a long time (since 2007). I feel like a newborn child after I started using Void Linux. It feels like (old) Arch Linux once again. And no systemd!
In Finland: Pension payments are at all time high: 24.4% of my salary. It feels like a robbery.
To me the thing I didn't like about Reddit was how it was too focused on US politics. For example, r/worldnews was mostly news from US. It should've been just r/news lol, nothing to do with world.
What OS are you running? You could use .local instead; I have mappings in /etc/hosts for 'gitlab.local' for example and they work fine.
