We tend to think about media disruption as driven by technological innovation. But the ‘enshittification’ of our socials shows that the tech itself plays a relatively minor role

The moment has gone down in Doctor Who history.
Just finished reading this - it's an amazing story about an unsuccessful author who plagarises her dead friend's work and how things spiral out of control from there...
It's an excellent satire on the publishing industry and social media. The protagonist isn't an unreliable narrator exactly but she's absolutely persuading herself that what she's doing isn't outright plagarism and it's up to us how much we believe her on that... She's a strongly drawn character either way.
The literary envy aspect of the story reminded me of The Information by Martin Amis. I'd definitely recommend Yellowface anyway. Has anyone else read it?
What do you guys think of digital board game apps? I'm a big fan of the good ones, I've currently been playing a lot of Root and Castles Of Burgundy.
Anyone else? Some people I know are purists and only play on the table, others enjoy being able to play on the go (I fall into the latter camp!)
The 3rd doctor is probably my least favourite of the Doctors - I think he's pompous, humourless and generally acts like he wishes he could be a Victorian gentleman instead of a time travelling alien.
That said, I love his first series, especially Inferno, and I'm quite fond of The Green Death. Does anyone else have a favourite Pertwee?
