Today, I am wearing Osmofolia's Shotgun (wild strawberries, cold metal, pink peonies, whipped cream, vanilla, white amber, white sandalwood). Wet: I immediately get a faint metal scent with a strawberry scent that reminds me of medicine. As it dries down the peonies start to smell stronger, but the strawberry note isn't working for me. I usually like strawberry perfumes, but this wasn't for me. I was hoping for a more metallic perfume, but the metal note disappeared quickly.
I contemplated this one when I made my summer collection order, but the metal note held me back. I love all things strawberry, but I couldn't picture how that scent worked.
Yeah, the contrast between metal and strawberry was what intrigued me, but it didn't go how I thought it was going to go.
