Is there a good fedi or p2p alternative to twitch?

Unfortunately, the reality is that a lot of people streaming from YouTube or Twitch are financially dependent on the money they make on those platforms. Some people are lucky, and manage to do things through something like Patreon, but it's probably a drop in the bucket compared to the big names who professionally publish videos on a consistent basis.

Perhaps, would it be possible to cross-stream those on proprietary platforms? Akin to the popular restream service, or directly from your streaming program. Of course, I would just be still using the proprietary ones, but atleast, they will be shown that alternatives exist and help popularize it.
