Two people go on an entire holiday to mainland Europe because it's cheaper than return tickets from London to Edinburgh.

I'm about to drive 220 miles to an airport, get a hotel, pick someone up, then drive 220 miles back. It's cheaper than a train ticket one-way. It's insane.
