The case argues the government violated young people’s constitutional rights by failing to curb the use of fossil fuels. A lower court had thrown it out.
It's a case against the government. If it hurts the Dems, the SC might be more interested in it. In all likelihood, they would be looking ahead to cases where they wouldn't want to give precedent to climate protections but just a flippant remark highlighting the corruption of the SC.
