@ratman150
@sh.itjust.worksSome people don't think that far ahead. One day their gas bill will be just as bad and they'll still complain.
Went through warranty replacement for a TV and was simply asked to write "void" and a big X on the warranty sticker. Even had the option to give the almost perfectly fine TV away (I did to someone who greatly benefited from it)
Typing this on a fold4 would just like to chime in that after a year of ownership the inner screen did fail seemingly for no reason. I was able to get this fixed but I just want to stress they do have some problems.
Partner has gone through 3 flip4 in the same amount of time though that phone is garbage.
I'm 99% sure it's 26,000lbs at least for a straight truck non combination.

I'm in Texas and will have to pay a $300 registration tax on my ev for it being "heavy and destructive and not paying fuel tax". My ev is a 2018 Fiat 500e and weighs 2900lbs. I'm tired of this argument especially when plenty of trucks weigh anywhere from 4500lbs (for the smallest examples) to quite literally 80k. Raise the fuel tax and you'll solve heavy vehicles virtually overnight.
Before anyone gets on my case I'm fully aware that not all evs are as light as mine, but plenty are lighter than an f150.
We do have passenger rail, just not nearly enough. We even have luxury/private passenger rail.
