Yeah this seems like an easy mistake to make. In fact, they were on coverage, which means they would have had a judge sitting there at the table with them, so the judge even missed it when it happened.
And just like a goose, if you step over one you'll find your nether bits in a very precarious situation.
I never played the games but was able to pick up enough through context clues about what each group is all about and generally what's going on. I do have lots of questions about the specifics of each group, but I'm hoping that in future episodes (I am only a few episodes in) and seasons they flesh things out a bit more to fill in some of the more mysterious aspects of the show.
Jeff Laubenstein is awesome and has done some great alters for me. He's awesome to talk to at events.
Dan Frazier will always hold a special place in my heart because I wrote to him and a bunch of other artists when I was 10 or 11 and he was the only one to write back and answer my questions.
Victor Adame-Minguez did the art for Brutal Expulsion, which is a card that holds special significance for me.
Howard Lyon does some really phenomenal work and he's another person who is really great to talk to at events.
Steve Argyle is an absolute madman when it comes to alters and sketches and he's another really awesome dude to talk to at events. He's so soft spoken and his artwork is so loud and I absolutely love that dichotomy.
Seriously, the guy is such a blast to talk to at events and he's game to alter anything.
My local food bank is my favorite place to donate and volunteer at. My friend also works as a CASA so I donate to them as well (link is for the national organization, but they're may be a local group you can donate to directly). Other than that, look around your area for local nonprofits. There are lots of local charities that work with kids, help solve local problems, etc that can always use some financial help. There are several organizations that you can go to if you want to vet and check on the charities to make sure they're legit.
I just got the jingle jam collection and started playing Godfall. Straight forward smack-em-with-a-sword game but lots of fun so far. Kinda reminds me of kingdoms of amalur. Hoping to try out a few more games from the collection as well as I've heard good things about quite a few of them.
