I thought about it. It's an absolutely epic and essential song for any classic rock or prog fan. But I felt that it fell outside of alternative
Thanks for this! I love anything British post-punk. I'll be looking forward to an album from these guys
The Neon Skyline is my favorite of his and also the first album I heard from him. The Party is also pretty good. Both are concept albums so I would recommend listening to them straight through.
I was just searching for this on Spotify and I couldn't find it for some reason. Maybe it was a delayed release. Maybe I'm incompetent. Anyways thanks for the link!
I listened to this one earlier this morning. Wonky is good way to describe it and his voice is super interesting but I kept hoping for something more. I'm not really sure what. Overall it was enjoyable but I'm not sure I'll go back to it
The first thing that came to mind is
15 Step - Radiohead
A couple others that came to mind that people might not know.
5 years time - Noah and the Whale
1878 - The Dear Hunter
Thirteen Hours - Andy Shauf
That's fair. Isaac was a huge part of their sound on the first two albums and they aren't the same without him. They're sharing vocal duties now.
From their Live at Bush Hall album I really like the songs "The Boy", "Turbines/Pigs", and "Dancers". The first two are sung by May. Her voice is a lot more delicate and it's a completely different sound than Issac but I think she sounds great. "Dancers" is sung by Tyler and she captures a little more of that energy that Isaac had but it's not quite the same. Still an enjoyable song though.
Here's two with the color pink! First from one of my favorite bands.
Second one is probably not considered alternative but whatever I like it because it's basically an Andre 3000 song.
Great song! This is probably my favorite recent band. How do you feel about their post-Isaac material?
