@lemmy.worldSome days, I even think maybe I might be a good person too
You sound like a good person to me. That level of self reflection rarely / never leads to being a shithead in my experience.
Crazy story but a very interesting read. Thanks for sharing.
I went to see it a few days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it and was glad I went to see it in the cinema.
The character development at the start is a bit rushed and that leads to the whole movie feeling a bit rushed IMO but overall it's a solid horror flick.
It depends. I have a ritual of watching a Star Trek series start to finish with my kids when they're around 10-12. Currently watching Voyager season 5 with my 10 year old and we do savour that intro occasionally but not always. I'd say maybe one in five times we'll watch it.
It's a long intro at nearly two minutes but it's such a good one. Great music, great graphics, super setting.
LOOOL. Something similarly stupid happened to a friend of mine. His phone got stolen in a nightclub but it was a rather unusual phone. He saw it for sale a few days later on our equivalent of craigslist and offered to buy it. Thing is the guy was a professional fighter and he turned up with a good friend who was a bouncer and also fought out of the same club.
Anyway....The person selling it was the bouncer from the club it had been stolen from. Someone would go around robbing phones from the club then sell them to the bouncer at a hefty discount and he would then sell them on. He apologised profusely and tried to explain his way out of it yada yada.
Friend got his phone back anyway.
he claims his mouth can't be numbed
This is a thing. My wife has to get lots of extra shots of the gum numbing stuff. Her first dentist as a kid didn't believe her that she could still feel and it caused her huge trauma.
