I know all about Mastodon. Been doing it just about everyday for years, sometimes twice a day!
We need to find out which system has the most bugs and then play solely on that system for the true Bethesda experience.
I used to use a VPN on the work wifi and then they began blocking VPN’s. One day my VPN started continuously dropping and reconnecting while on their wifi. Absolutely within their right to do, they need to know what traffic is on their network in case of anything that breaks policy or is nefarious.
Seconded. I still think a FOSS alternative that allows embedding videos within Lemmy and Mastodon is a huge step forward.
I’d host my own instance for the few things myself and a few friends post and others could do the same. Then of course there would be larger more professional instances that people would host as well.
Without having had much to do with that original community I’m fairly sure it’s satirical take where defendants are defending the indefensible.
I’d love to stay with iPhone but Apple have priced me out. I’m going to hold onto my 12PM as long as I can and then I’ll probably look at a Pixel.
Recently thanks to different promotions I had the opportunity to get a new Pixel for about $1000AUD less than a 14PM, can’t argue with that value.
