@gk99
@lemmy.worldYeah, Vanguard was horrible with the cosmetics, but MWII is going way off the rails. The Boys characters, FIFA stars, and Nicki Minaj.
This once again confirms that there is no reason we shouldn't be able to use our skins in all Warzone-connected games. The idea of thematic consistency is a sham and I should be able to use whatever characters I damn well please. This is explicitly why I refuse to buy any microtransactions for these games. Outside of BOCW, Warzone Clash was some of the most fun I've ever had because it was just raw TDM chaos with characters and guns from every game, it was super fun.
And it's gone, because live service.
Probably Duke Nukem Forever. I told myself that if it were ever $1, I'd buy it.
Then it was in the $1 tier of a Humble Bundle. Gonna be honest, still not really worth it, I don't think. Never finished it, didn't really think it was that fun.
Not true at all, platformers thrive on PC in part because we have a lot of indie promotion and loads of platformers come from indie devs.
Consider:
It just doesn't make sense to buy for a lot of people. We're beyond the phase of buying games just so Sony keeps putting them out, and in the phase of ignoring bad values. I'm a PC gamer myself, but I'm playing a whole bunch of games on PS5 right now because they're included with PS+ Extra/Premium and I'm price-sensitive.
Tbh I've already given up on Square Enix games. I liked FFXV, my first in the series, but then there was so much bullshit surrounding FFVII Remake and Integrade that I decided it wasn't worth getting properly invested in the franchise going forward. Here we are at FFXVI, and it's already retreading the same ground.
Republicans and Americans
No, just the Republican Americans. The ones who say they're Christian but completely ignore how often the Bible outright says to love those around us in favor of hatred because of some irrelevant thing that doesn't affect them in the slightest, like race or sexuality.
The rest of us normal people are capable of acceptance of each other and desire for the greater good.
Pretty much the same situation as Vanguard, Sledgehammer is getting screwed with not nearly enough time. I expect it to be pretty rough at launch tbh, gonna probably pick it up with a discount a few seasons in.
In which case yes there's a high likelihood of a PC port six months to a year from the launch date. Square Enix has a history of terrible, short-sighted deals, but they'd have to be especially stupid or Sony would have to be exceptionally loaded to get them to never launch FF16 on PC.
And we'd still have poultry and fish in the end.
Not the worst thing that a tick could be spreading at all.
Sure, but we have a huge chunk of the country inhabited mostly by tumbleweeds and people with less-than-awesome education. Plus, the concept of Area 51 has been around so long and has been so prolific it's been constantly referenced in the mainstream, from Scooby-Doo to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
