@programming.devIt think you get it. Repositories are superfluous abstractions that are focused on mocking databases for unit testing. They are entirely unnecessary, unless you're being micromanaged over unit tests.
I think making an assumption of hom being "right wing" based on that information is a poor assumption. It's clear that his behavior has been disruptive, negative, and promoting an unhealthy and unhelpful environment among the community and I think things could have been deescalated. I hope people on the committee aren't making the bad faith assumption that there's no way forward other than to excommunicate people who aren't presently fitting in with the prevalent culture of the community.
If all you care about is speed you could do even better than EXT4. But I wouldn't recommend it because you should care about more than speed.
I'm expecting that everything that the statistical models reveal or make convincing results about which benefit the owners of the models will be exploited. Anything that threatens power or the model owners will be largely ignored and dismissed.
You should be aware that this is classified and marketed as a microcontroller, so it's just a bootloader to some code with no OS or a RTOS.
Something like the RPi Zero is a SBC that's relatively close in size.
