He has disappointed us all. But with the absurd amounts of money and support Trump STILL gets with the owner class there's no surprises.
The sick part is, when you donate blood/plasma for free, the organization you gave to sells it at the same price as the people who pay you for it. I think the only exception is if you donate directly to a hospital or clinic.
Put on a high vis vest and go find the mezzanine or a storage area People don't check often, no one will question you.
Yeah. That's exactly it. People who have never broken in work boots, don't get why a bare wood handle shovel is a war crime, or how long it takes a burst blister to heal. Hard work pays off? No ma'am, generational wealth pays off. People who ''made it'' to home base who were born on third really do think THEY did it all, and there must be something wrong with you if you can't pull money out of your trust fund to 'knuckle down' in their aunt's condo for a few years and do an unpaid internship. Couldn't buy new shoes that whole time!
I find it interesting he didn't actually title any of these paintings and as far as I know, no explanation was given either. Perhaps he was thinking of the myth, but for all we know he wanted it to be titled ''Indigestion''. I think of it more as ''black painting 4'' or some other description without imposed meaning.
"but as I customer, I always see a store worker as a human and engage respectfully, and at least most people I know do the same"
Yeah, that's a HUGE problem in US culture, people are fucking awful to anyone in customer service. They look down on you like there's some class system and they are the lords and service people are the lowest peasant. I developed a nasty habit working in service of ''never falling for their bullshit''. Never show weakness, never give them an opportunity to fuck with you. It's actually a terrible approch to social interactions, most of normal social interactions are built on mutual trust or understanding, if you never allow either to manifest, it's a big communication breakdown.
Yeah that's not on you. New systems sometimes never really come online and customers just wise up and stop trying. It's frustrating for workers too, because the only thing worse than a terrible customer, is losing a sale over nothing.
It's all well and good to mock this stupidity, but there's innocent people being attacked over his racist and violent message. He's promising ethnic clensing, and his followers are ready to start right now.
To clarify, I'm glad you're mocking this, and in addition, the tone of Trump's rhetoric is violent and hateful.
A lot of US gun owners are in support of common sense gun laws. It's enough that some gun owners have started a gun lobbying group to oppose the NRA which is a pretty terrible organization. I've owned guns in the past, I don't anymore, don't know if I ever will again, but I used to, and I still think people should be allowed to own guns, but the lack of restrictions is absurd, We pretty immediately need big changes to domestic abuse laws, and bail opportunities, as some huge percentage of murders in the US are domestic abusers out on bail. Red Flag laws where someone who has been suspected of planning violent shootings can't gain access to firearms. much stricter laws on background checks and closing third party sale loopholes entirely, and I also think mandatory gun safes are a good idea, If you're not home, it should be entirely inaccessible. none of these laws would effect the majority of gun owners, as bad as it is now with gun violence, still the vast majority of gun owners are never going to endanger anyone. But doing nothing is insane. I've met zero people who shout "people kill people not guns" who isn't a jackass who's scared someone will take his toys away.
