I think the thing that may finally drive people off the platform may be the limitation on viewing posts. Busy days, I'm not likely to hit the limit - big news day? Yeah, going to hit the limit pretty fucking fast.
This has been my general sense of it as well, and likely the reason why Tildes is also popular for those looking for a Reddit-alternative. They're quieter platforms allowing for a more engaging conversation between people of similar interests. I'm excited to see how this all shapes out.
This is also the most user-friendly one I've found so far. Was super easy to find what I wanted and add them to my subs.
