@lemmy.worldNot sure I follow. The photos app doesn’t save anything externally unless you specifically export it to files and then you have to tell it where. Adding photos from your library to albums is one step with no question where they go. I’ve had a way worse time on android trying to figure out where it stashed things. But sounds like it could just be lack of familiarity for us both.
Seriously. It comes up every couple of years. Then the residents of Grimes county get all up in arms, put signs all along highway 6, vote against it, and then it dies a silent death.
“Don’t like it? Move”
That’s the same dangerous logic. Heaven forbid people try to make things better.
We’ve done similar! We just moved away from family (primary childcare), and my wife had to quit work until we get settled and school starts up.
I know millions of parents have figured this out but I literally cannot wrap my head around how we would be raising 2 small kids if my wife and I both had to be in the office full time. I take them to and from school most days and take care of other business during working hours. Then I work late at night to catch up on busy work. Or sometimes the weekend. If I lost that flexibility I would be looking immediately.
This right here. As a firefighter I’ve seen it. Also nowadays if the door is open I can’t sleep…I just keep opening my eyes and seeing that open door…
Not sure why yours doesn’t let you see more than 4 people. I’m in a call with 12 and I see them all. That being said, Google docs, etc. beats Word and Excel hands down in the area of collaboration and a few other minor points. I hate being stuck in one ecosystem that way.
