So long as they save more on the planes than they spend on the lawsuits it's a win according to investors.
That is perfectly fine, but any corrections or changes should be noted and explained, not quietly changed.
Why do you think that they give a shit about online privacy? This isn't a privacy bill, it's a bill stopping another government from doing exactly the same shit that the US government does through domestic apps. They aren't looking out for people, they're afraid of the competition.
Ghost Runner has many of the same aspects, and definitely scratches the same itch for me. It's much more combat focused, but the combat actually feels like it was an intentional part of the game, at least.
If I'm remembering correctly, the game was originally designed to have no guns available to the player, but the team was pressured into adding the shooter mechanics later on. Ignoring guns is definitely the way to go with this game.
