Although there were a lot of problems with Ender's Game, I was a little surprised that they didn't adapt any of the sequels. I mean I wouldn't have watched them, but it seemed like they went pretty all in on that first one to not at least try the second with a significantly reduced budget.
I went to a gamestop a few months ago to see if they had any games for my Gameboy Advance. The dude at the register said I might have better luck at the "retro game" store in the next town over. I nearly spit out my Crystal Pepsi at him.
Perhaps he'll claim asylum because, in his dumbshit world view, the US is persecuting billionaires.
I don't know if those companies had any say in whether their products were used, but this wasn't supposed to be for advertising. It was supposed to be a gimmick for what was stated to be a message on the economy, but the orange atrocity personified saw a squirrel and the whole address ended up being the same whiny bullshit.
That's entirely fair, and to call out my own argument, not every human endeavor needs to (or should) have a utilitarian purpose. Doing stuff just because it's interesting to an individual often is generally good for the greater society.
I doubt my usual strategy of pulling the stickers off to put them in the right position would work with this beast.
Yeah, maybe instead he should be arguing for people without kids to have fewer votes. Maybe, just picking a number at random here, like they should get 3/5 of a vote.
