What the actual fuck is this even supposed to mean?
I really enjoy the progress of AI and AI art. It's really sad that under capitalism AI art gets used for profit and causes artists to lose work.
I would love to have it as another tool in my arsenal. It could save me hundreds of hours in boring tedious work that I don't enjoy. But the only people who really "use" AI art are people who have nothing but contempt for real artists, so it's too distasteful to use for anything. I've used it very occasionally to make references for things, which is probably the most I would've ever used it anyway. It's still frustrating that something that could be used as a tool for artists to create more and better art is being used to try and under cut them and destroy our livelihoods.
