Same here. In full honesty, even from an ethical perspective, they’re about as mindless as you can get and roughly on the same level as insects. They’re a perfect replacement for terrestrial mammal livestock.
Easy to grow, lots of vital nutrients and protein, and much more sustainable then livestock.
Well, insects are arthropods. I think they're fascinating creatures, and they are far from mindless biorobots, but... Yeah, it'd be a lot better than industrial farming of mammals and birds.
