Press Release: MARCIVE announces closure after 43 years of service to libraries. It is with deep regret that MARCIVE Inc. announces the closure of its operations after 43 years of dedicated service to libraries nationwide. Since its founding in 1981, MARCIVE, Inc. has been a trusted provider of cataloging solutions and services to the library community. This difficult decision was made after careful consideration and reflects the conclusion of an era that has been defined by innovation and support for library services. MARCIVE, Inc. will officially cease operations by the end of December 2024. Until then, the company will continue to function as usual, ensuring that all clients experience uninterrupted service. During this period, MARCIVE, Inc. will be reviewing all existing subscriptions and renewals on a case-by-case basis to determine the most appropriate course of action for each client.
